What a wonderful stay! You can tell the love and care that the hosts have put into the schoolhouse. I have stayed at their other schoolhouse in the area and both of them are delightful! I felt immediately at home. The carpet ball game was a hit with my friends. This would also be an ideal spot for a Readaway Stay. Highly recommend!!

The Schoolhouse was amazing. We loved all the thought that went into to the unique decorations such as the newspaper articles featuring the schoolhouse. The renovations to the building highlighted the original structure while still providing modern amenities. (The master shower was awesome!) I stayed here the night before and after my wedding and it was perfect for both hanging out with my groomsmen on Friday and relaxing with my bride the morning of check out.
My groomsmen and I definitely enjoyed playing the carpet pool game the house has in the main shared area!!
I’ll definitely stay here anytime I have need for lodging in the Manhattan/Wamego area.

I had a great weekend at Clay’s place! It was super clean and cozy, and the neighborhood was really quiet, which was perfect for unwinding. Plus, it was close to the city, so getting around was a breeze. Definitely recommend it for a fun and relaxing getaway!

This was one of the best Airbnbs I have ever stayed in! The renovation from old school house to cozy cottage is amazing. The space is wonderfully decorated and the bathroom felt like I was at a spa. My 3 year old absolutely loved the play room in the loft, a big selling point for us. The house has everything we needed for our short stay and was a 10/10 for us.

Wspaniałe miejsce na nocleg w starej szkole. Bardzo ciekawy wystrój, szczegóły które nadają przytulnego, romantycznego charakteru. Łóżko bardzo wygodne, kuchnia dobrze wyposażona.
Niezwykłe miło nam było spędzić tu trochę czasu. Polecam wszystkim to miejsce i dziękuję miłym gospodarzom za gościnę.

I really enjoyed the chance to stay in Clay and Emily's old schoolhouse. It is beautifully renovated and updated, all the comforts of home. I especially appreciated the location, too, with immediate access to an endless network of both paved and dirt roads that (as a cyclist) gave me a wonderful appreciation of the Flint Hills. Incredible sunrise and sunset, and dusk seems endless out here. And Manhattan just a short and easy drive for fancy coffee and shopping! Thanks Clay and Emily!
